With Easter just around the corner and Anzac day falling on the same day, I am a bit confused about what days the public holidays fall on. When I ask the folks here in the office no one can really give me a straight answer – yes it is, I’m not sure, it has to be! Somebody must know. Is Tuesday 26th April a public holiday?
There’s a lot of talk in the office about what they’ve got planned. So what am I going to do?
My daughter has got her heart set on going to the Easter Show, but I’m not so sure I can deal with such a hectic and expensive day. These long, long weekends are so perfect to split between feet up, a movie and getting the bits and pieces done that you never get around to doing. I’ve got these old hardwood bedside tables in the garage that are the perfect candidate for a facelift and then a quick sale on Ebay!!
If it is a 5 day weekend then there may be time to squeeze in everything. Rest, Easter Show, family lunch, refurbish the tables and also catch a movie. I never get around to catching a movie these days and I’m going to find it hard to pick from what’s showing. It would have to be a toss-up between the new comedy Hall Pass; the Award winning King’s Speech or would I prefer the charming looks of Matthew McConaughey in the Lincoln Lawyer or Bradley Cooper in Limitless. Love to hear if anyone has any recommendations on the latest flicks.
