How far do you go on a favour? I moved into a new home last Friday and with everything that was going on I almost forgot to pick my little one up from day care. While I raced out to get her I left my friend scrubbing the toilets and showers.
Driving to do the pickup I started to feel terrible that I left my friend to play the role of Sadie the cleaning lady. She is a great friend and truly didn’t mind –but did I abuse her generosity to even ask? Maybe I should have put her on the unpacking duties instead.
Truly great friends are hard to find, difficult to leave and impossible to forget, thank you to everyone who helped me with the move.
